Delo House 3 is a prefabricated timber-frame house from the studio’s residential line, delivered with complete interior finishes, built-in engineering systems, and custom-designed furniture. For this specific commission, the main residence is accompanied by a separate outbuilding — a compact annex housing a kitchen-dining room with a traditional wood stove and a bathroom.
Situated on a slight elevation near the Gulf of Finland, the project benefits from direct views toward a pine grove and the water. A shared larch terrace connects the main house and outbuilding, framing a protected patio that will be planted with fruit-bearing vegetation.
The plan responds directly to the site’s layout and orientation: all key interior spaces — bedrooms, living areas, kitchen — are arranged along a linear axis, maximizing openness to nature and light.
MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
Delo House 3 and its outbuilding are built using a prefabricated timber-frame system developed by the studio.
The construction prioritizes resource efficiency: the design is based on standard material dimensions, which minimizes on-site waste and streamlines the building process.
